Should CUs offer mutual funds?

Credit unions should have a mutual funds offering in view of the trend of the financial industry's move into mutual funds. Much of the monies withdrawn from the savings products are moving into mutual funds and industry experts believe that funds from other offerings will follow. If credit unions do not have mutual fund offerings, their member relations will fall drastically. Application of mutual funds may be risky since they reduce the supply of money.
