Abstract

The potential applications of voice technology in industrial and consumer equipment such as cameras, toys, control machines, data loggers and alarm clocks, are discussed. Speech recognition technology has been found to increase productivity of workers by more than 40% by enabling them to free their eyes and hands to manually record data.
