Physical activity patterns and obesity in Hispanic and non-Hispanic white women

Physical activity patterns of Hispanic and non-Hispanic white women living in the southwestern US and the effects of these on obesity is studied using population-based controls. The findings show that prevalence of obesity is greater among Hispanic than non-Hispanic women and hence interventions to increase physical activity among them are needed to address the problems of inactivity and obesity.
