Abstract
- Highly pure boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) are synthesized at high yield by a carbon-free chemical vapor deposition method and are functionalized by wrapping them with a conjugated polymer, poly[m-phenylenevinylene-co-(2,5-dioctoxy-p-phenylenevinylene)] (PmPV). These polymer-wrapped soluble BNNTs have numerous applications in composites and optical devices due to good dispersion and unique luminescence properties.
