Abstract
- Yin and Brook defends their position by citing certain issues which seems to have been misinterpreted by their critics. Their study is not the only one that has ever questioned the validity of the topographic approach to well siting. They did not dispute the findings nor question the important role of earlier studies. They maintain the the need for mapping the fracture traces with remote sensing imagery based on their experience.
