Managing complications of midlines and PICCs

A brief discussion in the way in which one can prevent some common complications and intervene in cases of midline catheters and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) is presented. Details on how to handle cases with complication such as phlebitis, catheter occlusion, fighting infection, breaking up thrombosis and catheter fracture or embolism are discussed.
