Abstract
- A study was conducted to examine real exchange rate variability and real trade flow joint estimations. The study develops a model which separates anticipated and unanticipated variability and considers the theory of trade flow impact by the unanticipated variable. Results show that such variability exhibits a negative and significant impact on real export growth while its anticipated counterpart provides no effect on export growth.
