Abstract

A hydrothermal method is reported for synthesizing high-quality, ultralong, large-scale, single-crystalline Sb(sub 2)S(sub 3) by directly reacting SbCl(sub 3) and Na(sub 2)S(sub 2)O(sub 3) solutions. It is suggested that Sb(sub 2)S(sub 3) nanoribbons can be very promising for applications in solar energy and photoelectronic applications.
