Abstract
- The interaction between Pep-1 with its cargo and the biological membrane is studied to identify the nearby involved structural elements crucial for translocation. The results demonstrate that the investigated peptides interact with the micelles as well as with the protein cargo via their tryptophan-rich domain and display an orientation parallel to the micelle surface.
