Abstract
- Perdeuterated all trans beta-carotene imbedded in activated Cu-MCM-41 was examined by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and electron spin-echo envelope modulation (ESEEM) spectroscopies. ESEEM and pulse electron nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) studies of Cu(super 2+)-Car (carotenoids) complex in Cu-MCM-41 provided new information about the interaction between transition-metal ion and carotenoids.
