Abstract: The optical and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) properties of InP nanocrystals are studied, in which metallic gold or indium is present as an incorporated part of nanocrystals. The interaction of metal with semiconductor nanocrystals provides new functionalities to the nanostructures and the possibility of charge separation.
