Abstract

The effects of plasma electronics on the discharge circuit of a pulse nitrogen laser system was investigated. The circuit's discharge voltage, current and laser radiation were measured using various apparatus such as oscilloscopes, amplifiers and electronic probes. A transfer capacitor and a spark gap were then added to the system and the circuit's frequency response was taken. Results indicate that the discharge circuit of the laser was affected by the electronic impedances of the spark gap and laser channel plasma.
