Abstract
- The distinct genetic cluster formed by rice yellow dwarf (RYD) mycoplasmalike organisms (MLOs) compared to other MLOs was investigated. The DNA of ten lines of RYD MLOs having different geographical origins were characterized by four chromosomal probes and six extrachromosomal probes. Dot and Southern hybridizations were conducted in the experiments. Electrophoretic diversity of extrachromosomal DNAs was established.
