Abstract

The expulsion policy that might be affected by changing political contexts is shown, but that from regime to regime it's underlying framework and suppositions were remarkably resilient throughout the early and mid twentieth century. The study of one important component of the policing of immigration, namely expulsion, has more to offer to these debates than has been the case so far is suggested.
