Dependence of the magnetic properties of Co/Pd multilayered films on the structural parameters estimated accurately by x-ray diffraction

The influence of the magnetic characteristics of Co/Pd multilayered films on the structural parameters was investigated. The results showed that Pd predeposition, Pd-sublayer thickness and Co-sublayer thickness determined the magnetic properties of the material. High coercivity and enhanced interfacial magnetic anisotropy were obtained withPd-predeposited films.
