Abstract
- Several career opportunities exist in the computer industry. They run the gamut from computer operators to information systems managers. There is no definite path towards any of the computer professions. Companies generally hire people who have specific qualifications and work experience, due to increased specialization within the industry. College degrees are not mandatory. More importantly, the computer professional should keep abreast, and preferably, ahead of current technology trends.
