Abstract: Statistics of some of the companies in the Insurance (property/casualty) industry and their securities rankings as of September 23, 2005 are furnished. Despite the fact that the industry is one of the best in terms of returns and appreciation, risk averse investors must exercise caution because the sector is prone to losses in the events like the recent hurricanes.
