Abstract
- Patterns of drug therapy and underlying mortality risk in patients with heart failure were investigated. Findings reveal that patients with heart failure at greatest risk of death were least likely to receive angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) and beta-adrenoreceptor antagonists.
