Fat chance

Diabetes rates are rising among younger adults, as two-thirds of the people in the United States are overweight from too much high calorie food and too little exercise and the country should try to reform its diabetigenic lifestyle urgently. Most people have trouble sticking to diet-and-exercise regimens and the pharmaceutical industry sees the diabetes epidemic as a great opportunity.
