Abstract

The link between managers' attitudinal differences and a firm's performance in technology licensing activity is investigated. Variations in licensing performance are traced to differences in managers' attitudes toward the costs and benefits of licensing. If managers favorably perceived the effect of licensing in the firm's operations, an effective technology licensing performance results.
