Abstract
- Protein-DNA complexes formed during the initial stages of P-element transposition is visualized using atomic force microscopy (AFM). The results revealed that guanosine triphosphate (GTP) acts to promote assembly of the first detectable noncovalent precleavage synaptic complex.
