Abstract

A study on triplet quenching, the major photoprotection mechanism in antenna proteins, is studied in the light-harvesting complex of photosystem I. The process was investigated at low temperature by means of optically detected magnetic resonance that is well suited for investigation of triplet states in photosynthetic systems.
