Abstract
- Despite reduced employment at American factories, the country's manufacturing industries are producing more than ever. A recent Federal Reserve report for the month of June 2005, showed industrial production up 0.9%. Though the manufacturing sector represents a shrinking percentage of overall economic output in the U.S., companies such as Boeing Co., Procter and Gamble Co., and Campbell Soup Co., are enjoying increased demand for their products.
