Quantitative analysis of continuous-variation plots with a comparison of several methods: spectrophotometric study of organic and inorganic 1:1 stoichiometry complexes

Equilibrium constants and measurement techniques' characteristic scale factors can be estimated from preliminary data for unique 1:1 stoichiometry complexes using three analytical methods on continuous-variation plots. These methods use initial tangents, chords and numerical analysis and while numerical analysis is the most time consuming, it is also the most effective because it uses all experimental points.
