Abstract
- The present status and the future trends of oil demand and (CO) (sub 2) emissions from Chinese road transport sector is estimated and possible policy measures to control the growth of the same are discussed. Low and high-fuel economy improvement scenarios are suggested. Early implementation and introduction of fuel-efficient technology are the key to meet fuel economy standards.
