Abstract
- The change in the position of women in Poland after the First World War, focusing on the evolution of a mother's role is examined. The key elements in these processes were, an increasing number of professionally active women and access to birth control, changing attitudes and practices regarding childcare and the relationship between maternity and women's professional activity.
