Abstract
- Fluorescence probes are excellent sensors for biomolecules, being sensitive, fast-responding, and capable of affording high spatial resolution via microscopic imaging. The carboxylic group of traditional fluorescein dyes, formerly considered indispensable is replaced with other substituents, affording various kinds of new fluoresceins.
