Abstract: A review of data on dental patients suffering from different types of heart murmurs, abnormal heart sounds indicating cardiovascular disorders is presented. Diagnostic methods and implications for dental treatments are discussed. Dentists need to assess drug interactions and such patient's tolerance for dental procedures.
