Abstract

The fishes, which are hooked just below the surface sometimes, pay to let the jig sink a bit before beginning the retrieve. The Southern California fishermen have been using lures on Wahoo for many years, and the results are excellent. Wahoo are attracted to offshore structure like humps, banks, contour lines and ledges. The result will be shocking when running across a floating log, weed patch, as school of baitfish bring along a special outfit armed with metal.
