Abstract
- The study shows that the family of heterotrinuclear complexes could be easily prepared in nonaqueous solvent through the reaction of zerovalent copper, two different metal salts (Co and Ni or Co and Cd), and diethanolamine in open air. The complexes demonstrate that metal aminoalkoxo species generated in solution could be used to assemble discrete molecular architectures featuring three different transition metal atoms in which the ligand acts to bridge metal centers.
