Racing to keep up, U.S. ports must be green, lean and connected

Many small U.S. ports are expanding as shippers are increasing larger container carriers and are looking for regions with the most efficient systems and capacious infrastructure networks. Construction cranes are working with ship cranes at U.S. ports, where containerized cargo traffic is expected to increase by 350% in the next 20 years, as on 2004.
