Abstract

The Northwest Airlines pilot's group has proposed an exclusive pay and benefits system for pilots of 70-seat aircraft. The proposal states that the 70-seat aircraft would be employed at lower than-mainline pay rates and reduced benefits while the work rules would be more flexible than those applying to mainline operations.
