Abstract

The study stated that the combined use of dca and bipym has led to the preparation of three extended frameworks with Mn(II) and Cu(II), which are synthesized under similar conditions, where the bipym ligand was added on the metal in 1/2 proportion. The weak antiferromagnetic interactions are in agreement with the existence of double discyanamide bridges, while strong and moderate antiferromagnetic interactions are associated to the bipyrimidine bridges.
