Abstract
- A variety of monomeric, anionic rhenium hydride salts are conveniently synthesized by the deprotonation of neutral polyhydride complexes by use of a strong base, such as KH. Studies have shown that analogous anionic dimers with other phosphine ligands such as P(p-C6H4F)(sub 3) and PMe(sub 3) can be prepared.
