Abstract
- The study traces the development of intellectual efforts to understand some of the interactions between the market and other social institutions. Microanalysis explained decision-making by buyers, who maximized satisfaction by choosing among assortments of goods and services and sellers, whose manipulation of marketing variables contributed to social welfare.
