Abstract

Nancy Ganz designed the Hipslip, a modern version of the corset, and added it to her sportswear collection in 1987. It was an instant hit, and she dropped the sportswear business to concentrate on control garments. Her new company, Bodyslimmers Inc, recorded sales of $3.9 million in 1991.
