Abstract
- Skilled gem cutter Andreas Becker was able to create exquisite peridot gems out of olivine crystals that came from the Esquel meteorite. The gems were a success when exhibited at the 1991 Intergem show held in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, the European gem cutting center.
