Abstract
- The left has failed to capitalize on the political dissatisfaction that is rife in the US and which is being exploited by Ross Perot. Jesse Jackson erred when he did not mold his Rainbow Coalition into a political party. An independent Jackson candidacy would force progressive issues onto the political agenda.
