Abstract

Reporting the AC losses of several model wires are numerically evaluated by means of two-dimensional (2D) finite element analysis, which is formulated by self magnetic field due an induced current is presented. The results obtained are compared with theoretical curves based on the critical state model or numerical results with one-dimensional (1D) finite difference method (FDM).
