Abstract

A new thermodynamic, calculation, and IR considerations that indicate the H2OCl(super +) ion is not involved in the ClONO2 hydrolysis on ice surface is presented. The IR spectra calculations providing an explicit identification of the 1650 cm(super -1) spectral feature are detailed.
