Abstract

Investigating a comparative study of superconducting and microstructural properties of the bulk MgB2/Mg nano-composites and the press-sintered MgB2, in order to reveal the controlling factors for the critical current of MgB2 superconductors is discussed. It is found that the nano-composites are extremely dense and carries more than four times J(sub c), as compared to the press-sintered pellet.
