Abstract

Reporting a new apparatus for large area irradiation and nanostructuring of superconducting materials calibrated and used to enhance the superconducting properties of a 30 cm long multifilamentary Ag/BSCCO-2223 tapes is presented. The results obtained show that after irradiation there is an outstanding interaction at the matching condition that deeply affects the collective behavior of the vortices.
