Abstract: The coordinative/insertive stereoregular homopolymerizations and copolymerizations of styrene and methyl methacrylate mediated by a highly active single-site organotitanium catalyst are described. A new mechanism involving a sequential conjugate addition steps to explain the copolymeric results are suggested.
