Abstract: The structures and electroluminiscent properties of bis2-(2-hydroxyphenyyl)benzothiazolate are investigated. The molecular structure of an anhydrous [Zn(BTZ)(sub 2)](sub 2) obtained by sublimation is determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction.
