Catalytic model reactionsfor the HCN isomerization.II. theoretical investigation of an anionic pathway

The study was conducted on the mechanism for the isomerization of HCN taking into account the hydrated nature of the cometary environment and supposes an interaction with a cold electron in the inner cometary plasma region. The results show that the efficiency of this HNC formation mechanism appears to be dependent on both water molecule and cold electron densities.
