Abstract
- Pseudomorphic Ni2MnGa and Ni2Mn(sub 1.2)Ga(sub 0.8) films were grown by molecular-beam epitaxy on GaAs substrates using a six monolayer thick interlayer. Removal of the substrates to release the films enables martensitic phase transformation in the free-standing single crystal films to occur.
