Abstract
- A combined classical and quantum mechanical microcavity (CCQMM) model is used to describe the recombination of excitons in an organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs). Different approaches to device optimization, depending on the fluorescence efficiency of the emitter and whether a shaped substrate is used is discussed.
