Interaction of laser- induced cavitation bubbles with composite surfaces

Abstract

The dynamics of laser induced cavitation bubble near a composite surface is investigated with high speed photography. The findings state that the bubble migration depended upon the properties of composite surfaces together with the relative distance of a bubble from the boundary surface, showing a range of response between the free surface and rigid boundary cases.
