Abstract

An investigation is conducted to identify the ways in which, concern for fairness influence decision-making, by using a paradigm to illustrate the circumstances under which a decision maker sacrifices his/her own potential, or reward to be either fair or unfair to another person. The investigation revealed that the fairness motive and moral concerns could influence decisions that have economic impact.
