Abstract
- Solid supported lipid bilayers possess a unique combination of physical properties, which make them well suited to serve as cell membrane mimics, and among these the chief is the two dimensional fluidity of the individual lipid molecules. The method of bilayer preservation requires no substrate modification can be performed using commercially available reagents.
